How do I install an eSIM via a QR Code on my iOS device?

Not all iOS devices are eSIM-compatible, so it's a good idea to check article that your device supports eSIMs before getting started. Please follow the steps in this to check if your iOS device supports eSIMs and is carrier-unlocked.

Once you have confirmed that your iOS device supports eSIMs and is connected to a stable internet connection, you can follow these steps to set up an eSIM.

I. INSTALLATION

  1. Tap My eSIM.
  2. Tap the eSIM you want to install.
  3. Locate the QR code.
  4. Open the device's Settings.
  5. Tap Cellular.
  6. Click Add eSIM.
  7. Tap Scan QR Code.
  8. Scan the QR code.
  9. Wait a few minutes for the eSIM to activate.
  10. Tap Done.
  11. Add a cellular number label to the newly installed eSIM.
  12. Tap Secondary Number.
  13. Enter your preferred label.
  14. Click Done.
  15. Tap Continue.
  16. Select the primary number for calls and text messages.
  17. Tap Continue.
  18. Select the primary number for iMessage and FaceTime.
  19. Tap Continue.
  20. Select the eSIM for cellular data.
  21. Ensure "Allow Cellular Data Switching" is turned off.
  22. Tap Continue.

II. ACCESSING DATA

  1. Tap your eSIM.
  2. Ensure that the eSIM is enabled. If not, turn on "Enable this number".
  3. Turn data roaming on or off.
  4. Go to Cellular.
  5. Tap Cellular Data and select your eSIM.

Your eSIM should automatically connect to a supported mobile network.
