How do I install an eSIM manually on my iOS device?
Not all iOS devices are eSIM-compatible, so it's a good idea to check articlethat your device supports eSIMs before getting started. Please follow the steps in this to check if your iOS device supports eSIMs and is carrier-unlocked.
Once you have confirmed that your iOS device supports eSIMs and is connected to a stable internet connection, you can follow these steps to set up an eSIM.
I. INSTALLATION
- Open My eSIM.
- Click on the eSIM you want to install.
- Find the manual installation method.
- Open the device's Settings.
- Tap Cellular.
- Tap Add eSIM.
- Tap Use QR Code.
- Tap Enter Details Manually.
- Copy the SM-DP+ address from the webpage and paste it into the "SM-DP+ Address" field.
- Then, copy and paste the activation code and confirmation code (if prompted).
- Tap Next.
- Tap Continue twice.
- Wait a few minutes for the eSIM to activate.
- Tap Done.
- Add a cellular number label to the newly installed eSIM.
- Tap Secondary Number.
- Enter your preferred label.
- Tap Done.
- Tap Continue.
- Select the primary number for calls and text messages.
- Tap Continue.
- Select the primary number for iMessage and FaceTime.
- Tap Continue.
- Select the eSIM for cellular data.
- Ensure "Allow Cellular Data Switching" is turned off.

After completing these steps, the installation page will close. Once your eSIM is installed, follow the instructions on the eSIM installation page to ensure proper connectivity.
II. ACCESSING DATA
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Cellular.
- Tap your eSIM.
- Ensure the eSIM is enabled. If not, turn on "Enable this number".
- Turn data roaming on or off.
- Go to Cellular.
- Tap Cellular Data and select your eSIM.
Your eSIM should automatically connect to a supported mobile network.
